Silverstone - Supersport, Group 2, Race 1, Friday afternoon. Sept 2005
In the Supersport class, the whole race was a terrific battle
between Peter van der Kolk in the fast Braincard BMW Compact, Scott Grant in a
BMW E36 and the Tony Brown team – Ian White in the bright yellow BMW GTR. In the
end, Van der Kolk managed to take the lead and Scott Grant fell behind because
of an overheated engine. German Martin Roos, owner of Team RED with three Lotus
Exiges, managed to achieve third place on the podium.
