
For several years Fluid Bed ovens have been used successfully in many heat treatment fields. Considerable
advantages are flexibility, universal usability, short batch times and elimination of environmental problems.
The Fluid Bed oven is a retort oven filled with fine particle aluminium oxide (Al203). Fluid gas enters through the
bottom plate and creates the Fluid Bed. Because it almost behaves like a liquid the heat transfer properties are
very similar to the ones of a liquid and thus the Fluid Bed guarantees fast heat up of the parts and temperature
uniformity.
By selection of temperature and gas or gas mixture different processes can be run.
